Grand opening set for Saturday June 12th
The Beechmont Open Air Market will kick off its Fifth season of selling this Saturday, June 12th from 8:00am to 12:00pm at Southern Parkway at Wellington.
“Beechmont is one of many areas in Metro Louisville showing support for local growers and at the same time promote healthy foods,” says Councilman Dan Johnson (D-21). “This Open Air Market is a fun event for the community.”
The Beechmont Open Air Market will run throughout the summer on Saturday mornings. It offers vendors from around the area and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. There will also be flowers and crafts available. For the Grand Opening, DJ Fred and Ears What’s Poppin Kettle corn will be on hand.
“I want to invite everyone to come out and help our local vendors,” says Johnson. “It’s also a good opportunity to get to know people in the Beechmont Neighborhood.”
