Southwest Seeks VA Outpatient Center

Efforts are being made by local officials and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to locate an outpatient medical center at the Iroquois Homes. The Southwest Louisville/Iroquois area is the ideal place for an outpatient center. There are many veterans living in and nearby the community, including those who may locate or visit here from Fort Knox. There are already a number of health care professionals in the community and additional jobs could be created if the center was located in this area.
