- Coffee with Your Councilwoman is tomorrow morning, March 6 at 9am at First String Family Grill & Pub, just behind Wendy's at Outer Loop & New Cut Rd. Two MSD reps will be there along with Congressman John Yarmuth and his District Representative Marty Meyer. Come for a relaxed conversation and some great FREE coffee! - May Be Good News: According to this Courier Journal article, General Motors is reinstating 600 auto dealerships out of the 1100 slated to be cut by the automaker. I'm waiting to speak with Steve Montgomery of Bob Montgomery Chevrolet on the status of the Dixie Highway Chevy dealer. The Southwest Dream Team has been circulating a petition to save the dealership, which had received notice that GM was pulling out.

- There are only 57 days until Derby Day, the sun is shining and we are in for a nice weekend weather-wise. Please, please, please be careful on the roads and watch out for motorcycles. Outdoor conditions have been terrible, and with improving weather many bikers are hitting the streets.
