Yates seeking volunteers for veterans memorial clean-up

"We are taking residents concerns about cleaning up our neighborhoods seriously" says Yates, "Volunteer efforts like this will help with the awareness of the problem."

  2. Wow, a metro councilman who not only is a politician, but also acts as a community leader.

I wish we had one here in the Fourteenth...a community leader that is.

    Kudos to David Yates

  3. Sorry I missed this announcement prior to the cleanup. I do have to ask, though...don't our tax dollars already pay someone to mow/maintain this area? Shouldn't trash pickup be included in this service? I'm just asking...
