Storm Debris Crews Working in SW Louisville

I am extremely happy to report to you that my storm debris was picked up yesterday. That is really all I have to say about it. I'm just glad it is over for me, personally. I hope yours is gone soon, too.

  2. Hah! Yeah, totally. We are pretty tight these days. Especially since I've been so kind to him on this site.

Now if I could just get him to agree to the 8664 proposal....

  3. I am reluctant to admit it, but I am becoming accustomed to the piles of storm debria along the curb. The piles have been there so long, small creatures are beginning to take up residence within the protection provided by the branches and birds are taking refuge. It is tempting to stick the branches into the ground to see if they will grow.

Also curious to watch neighbors recut and stack the debris into smaller and more orderly piles. Needless to say the piles are still there!

We reside within the old city boundaries, pay taxes for garbage removal and apparently not violating any city ordinance. It has been a massive undertaking for the City and we're a patient bunch out here in the south end.
