seems to me that tyler allen is yhe only candidate to even mention the s.w.lord knows we have been forgotten long enough.what happened to mayor jerrys promise to build up the dixie hwy. corridor,nothing.I hope this is not just idle chatter.
I'm a republican- I've never voted for a democrat in my life, and it feels very awkward to find myself with a Tyler Allen sign in my front yard. But we can't afford the bridges project as currently envisioned. Tolling the old bridges is a dreadful idea. So far, he is the only candidate who has been brave enough to tell us the truth on this subject. It's also true that he's the only candidate I've heard even MENTION us out here in the south end. Why not put a bridge out here, and reroute some traffic through the less-congested part of town? Wasn't that supposed to be part of this whole shebang at one point?
If Allen gets into office, and forgets about the south end, I'll be so disappointed. But I won't be surprised; we do seem to be the part of town everyone forgets about.
