Yates announces "Open Office" meetings for District 25

David Yates D-25
With the new Southwest Regional Metro Council office up and running, Councilman David Yates announces the first of several “Open Office” meetings for residents of District 25.

“I promised to be more responsive to the needs of the residents of District 25. That includes making myself available to hear concerns or ideas to improve our neighborhoods. So I want people to come out and sit down and talk with me about what’s on their mind,” says Yates, “Open Office also is a great way to see our new Southwest Regional Office.”

The first “Open Office” session is set for Thursday, May 19th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the new office located in the Southwest Government Center, 7219 Dixie Highway.

District 25 residents are invited to meet with the Councilman, one-on-one, to discuss their concerns and share ideas. District 25 staff will be on hand to process constituents concerns and provide information.

“I realize many of our residents are busy and can’t always make their way downtown or may not want to share their concerns at a public forum,” says Yates. “Open Office” provides an additional opportunity for us to talk and speak together.”

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended and can be scheduled by calling (502) 937-6143 or by e-mailing Nicole.candler@louisvilleky.gov .
